Lens options

The Eyeglass Club lets you add the following features to your lens!  You can choose  a thinner and stronger lens called  polycarbonate ($35).  This is recommended if your prescription is over (+) or (-) 3.00.  You can also add a Super thin lens high index 1.67 recommended for prescriptions above ( + ) or ( - ) 6.00 ($100).  

1 ANTIGLARE

Reduces glare from computers, lights and makes nighttime driving more comfortable

 

 

2 POLARIZED LENS

A technology that cuts sunglare and provides greater protection then a standard tint.

 

3 TRANSITIONS 

Transitions turns dark in the sun. We use gray transitions only.

 

4 TINT

Tint relaxes the eyes.  We pair gray with every color except brown glasses which get brown tints

5 PROGRESSIVES

In addition to single vision glasses for reading or distance, You also can order bifocals ( with the line) and progressives (no line)

 

6 BIFOCALS

The lens has a visible line for patients with this preference.

 

 

7 RIMLESS FRAMES

The lens has no rim and is lighter on the face. If you send your  rimless frames a polycarbonate lens is automatically  used, since this lens is best suited for drilling holes in the lens. Plugs and screws are used to secure the lens.  There is an additional $99 dollar fee for this service. You can select other features like antiglare and transitions) Please select this option in the check box. If it is not selected we will contact you to complete the payment over the phone.

 

 

8 NOSE PAD REPLACEMENT

Are your nose pads old and worn out?  Are they even missing?  A fresh pair of nose pads greatly improves the comfort and feel of your glasses.  We can replace your nose pads, when you select this option!
