What to expect:
The optician will arrive at your home with the glasses you requested, set up the instrumentation and administer a chart test and a refraction as seen in the video.
Note: Please have your old glasses along with paper prescription available. If you don't have it call your doctor and have them fax to (718) 721 1220 before your appointment. Please confirm with us that the fax was received. Call 347 254 1625.
The smart vision system allows contact lens updates for existing wearers! If you wish to update your contact lens prescription you may do so as long as your have a copy of your paper prescription with you and we can test you with you your old contacts in your eyes. This is not the same as a glasses prescription, because it specifies which brand contact lens you wear. Fax this to us as well, and confirm our receipt of this. You may order your contacts with us after the exam. Contact lens take 3-5 days to ship.
COST : FORTY FIVE DOLLARS PAYABLE AT THE TIME OF TEST FOR CONTACT or GLASSES VISION TEST. (If you require both tests, the charge is ninty dollars)
When the exam is complete, we will fit your glasses, select the lens types and features and review cost with you. You may make payment on the website (or in cash)
Your glasses will be shipped to you in 7 to 10 days.
